Improving your IELTS vocabulary is essential for getting a good result, not only in the active skills (writing and speaking) but also in the passive skills (reading and listening). Very often the difference between the right and wrong answer will depend on how well you understood a word, so learning vocabulary common to IELTS is the best place to start.
